My Words
I’m Tanner Ryan. I was born on August 20, 2003, in Kentucky, where I was raised in a hard-working, blue-collar family that taught me the values of faith, family, and grit. Growing up, Jesus and country music were always at the center of our lives, and I carry that with me in everything I do.
Music has always been a part of who I am. I don’t read notes off a page—I play by ear, by feeling, by letting the music move through me. It’s pure, it’s raw, and it’s real. Before music became my focus, I spent a lot of time on the ball field. I played baseball, basketball, and football, and I was blessed to help lead my teams to many victories. Sports taught me discipline, teamwork, and heart—things I bring with me into my music every single day.
My love for family, sports, and most of all, my faith in Jesus, have shaped me into the artist I am today. I’ve got a soulful spirit and a passion to share my music with the world, and I refuse to give up on this dream. Through faith, hard work, and the support of people like you, I know success is on the horizon.
To my family, my fans, and my Lord and Savior—thank you. Your love and support mean everything to me, and I promise I’ll never forget the ones who helped me along the way. My band, The Narrows is one of my greatest assets to the music is sing. Without them all of what we do would not be possible. We have a strong bond and brotherhood that is unmatched and love being on the road with such a great group of guys.
